I started in financial journalism, covering tech companies through an investor lens at Seeking Alpha and the venture capital beat at CoinDesk. That meant constantly pressure-testing founder stories against what the numbers actually said, what competitors were doing, and what investors cared about.
Now I do the same thing from the other side. I work with companies on the comms strategy behind fundraises, product launches, and public positioning. The difference is I evaluate narratives the way an investor or reporter would pick them apart, not the way a marketer would polish them.
If your story only works in a pitch deck but falls apart in a press interview or a due diligence call, that is the problem I solve.
